Onrust Archaeological Park Closed Again After Return of PSBB

We have closed them since yesterday while waiting for further policies

Onrust Archaeological Park, which includes Onrust, Cipir and Kelor islands in Thousand Islands has been closed due to COVID-19. The policy is last up to January 25.

Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit Head Berkah Shadaya said, this policy is a follow-up to the Governor Decree number 19/2021 on Enforcement, Duration and Limitation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions on Outdoor Activities.

Jakarta Closes Dozens of Tourist Sites to January 25

"It is in accordance with applicable policies. We have closed them since yesterday while waiting for further policies," he expressed, Tuesday (1/12).

During the closing period, his side would sterilize tourist areas by spraying disinfectants, precisely on existing facilities and infrastructure.

"We'll use this moment for maintenance and disinfection," he stated.
